Yet social media is a double edged sword, and presents a myriad of new challenges and new problems.
Well here we are, 20 years after the Y2K craze... and things are getting pretty crazy again. The world hasn't changed much in the realm of end times speculation, intermingling with technophobia and conspiracy theories running rampant.
Ethnocentrism is a big word I learned in my High School cultural anthropology class. It means the tendency for people to try to interpret or judge another culture, through the lens of their own upbringing and beliefs.
